2. Products
Laser Sharp Gifts supplies personalised and non-personalised gifts, including laser-engraved products.
We make every reasonable effort to describe and photograph our products accurately.
Colours and appearance can vary depending on photography, lighting and your screen.
3. Natural Materials
Many of our products are manufactured from natural materials including slate and wood.
Variations in:
Colour
Grain
Texture
Thickness
Edges
Surface markings
are natural characteristics and make each product unique.
Reasonable natural variations are not considered manufacturing faults.
4. Personalisation
Customers are responsible for checking all information supplied when ordering.
Please carefully check:
Names
Dates
Spelling
Messages
Photographs
Design options
Personalisation instructions
We reproduce customer-supplied wording as submitted.
If you discover a mistake after placing an order, contact us immediately at orders@lasersharpgifts.co.uk.
If production has not started, we will try to amend the order.
Once engraving or manufacture has begun, changes may not be possible.
5. Photograph Quality
The quality of photo engraving depends on the original photograph.
For the best results, photographs should be:
Clear
Well lit
In focus
High resolution
Free from excessive shadows
Large enough to show the main subject clearly
Photographs may be cropped, resized, converted to monochrome, enhanced or otherwise adjusted to produce suitable engraving artwork.
Laser engraving is not the same as photographic printing. The finished engraved image will naturally have different tones, shading and detail from the original photograph.
6. Rights to Uploaded Content
By uploading a photograph, design, logo or other content, you confirm that you have the necessary rights or permission to use it for the product ordered.
You remain responsible for content supplied by you.
We reserve the right to refuse material that we reasonably believe is unlawful or infringes another person's rights.
7. Placing an Order
By submitting an order, you are offering to purchase the selected products.
An order is accepted when we confirm it and begin processing it.
We may refuse or cancel an order where:
Payment cannot be authorised
A product is unavailable
An obvious pricing error has occurred
The requested design cannot reasonably be manufactured
Supplied content is unlawful or otherwise unsuitable
Where we cancel a paid order, the appropriate amount will be refunded.
8. Prices
All prices are displayed in pounds sterling (£).
The price payable will be shown before you confirm your order.
Delivery charges, where applicable, will also be displayed before checkout is completed.
9. Payment
Payment is normally required in full when ordering.
Payment may be processed by an external payment provider.
10. Production and Dispatch
Personalised products are manufactured specifically for each customer.
Our normal dispatch target is:
3–5 working days
This is an estimated production period and is not a guaranteed delivery date unless specifically agreed by us.
During busy periods, production may take longer.
If you require an item by a specific date, please contact us before ordering.
11. Delivery
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address.
Delivery times provided are estimates unless specifically guaranteed.
We cannot be responsible for delays resulting from inaccurate information provided by the customer.
12. Damaged Orders
If your product arrives damaged, please contact:
Please include:
Your name
Order number
Description of the problem
Photographs of the damaged item

Do not dispose of damaged packaging until the matter has been resolved where possible.
13. Faulty or Incorrect Products
Your statutory consumer rights are not affected by these Terms.
If an item is:
Faulty
Damaged
Not as described
Incorrectly personalised because of an error by Laser Sharp Gifts
please contact us.
Depending on the circumstances, an appropriate remedy may include replacement, repair or refund.
14. Customer-Supplied Errors
Where we correctly manufacture an item using the information submitted by the customer, we cannot normally provide a free replacement because the customer:
Misspelled a name
Supplied an incorrect date
Supplied incorrect wording
Uploaded the wrong photograph
Selected the wrong design option
Where possible, we may offer a reduced-price replacement at our discretion.
15. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, original Laser Sharp Gifts product photography, designs, logos, graphics and written website content may not be commercially copied or reproduced without permission.
Customer-supplied photographs remain the property of their respective rights holders.

For questions about an order or these Terms:
RETURNS & REFUND POLICY
We hope you are delighted with your Laser Sharp Gifts order.
Because many of our items are personalised specifically for the customer, different rules apply to personalised and non-personalised products.
1. Non-Personalised Products
For eligible non-personalised products purchased online, you normally have 14 days from receiving the goods to notify us that you wish to cancel.
You then normally have a further 14 days to return the goods.
Contact:
Returns should be sent to:
Laser Sharp Gifts
21 Lyndhurst Avenue
Blackpool
Lancashire
FY4 3AX
Please contact us before returning an item so that we can identify your order.
2. Condition of Returns
Returned products should be cared for while in your possession.
You may inspect an item in a similar manner to how you could inspect it in a physical shop.
Where the value of a product has been reduced because of unnecessary handling, we may be entitled to make an appropriate deduction from the refund.
3. Return Postage
For change-of-mind returns of eligible non-personalised products, the customer may be responsible for return postage where this has been made clear before purchase.
Where an item is faulty or we have made an error, we will deal with reasonable return arrangements as appropriate.
4. Refunds
Where cancellation rights apply, refunds will normally be processed within the legally applicable period after we receive the returned goods or appropriate evidence that they have been returned.
Where applicable, the cost of standard outbound delivery will be included.
If you selected a more expensive delivery service, we are not normally required to refund the additional amount above the standard delivery charge.
5. Personalised and Custom-Made Products
Products that are made to your specification or clearly personalised are generally excluded from the normal change-of-mind cancellation right.
This includes products personalised with:
Photographs
Names
Dates
Messages
Initials
Custom wording
Customer-specific artwork
Bespoke designs
We therefore cannot normally accept a return simply because you change your mind once a personalised product has been manufactured.
6. Faulty Personalised Products
The personalised-products exemption does not remove your statutory rights where an item is faulty, damaged, not as described or incorrectly manufactured.
If there is a problem, contact:
Please include photographs of the issue where possible.
7. Incorrect Customer Information
If the finished product accurately reflects the information supplied when ordering, an error in the customer's original personalisation is not normally considered a product fault.
Always check spelling, dates, photographs and wording carefully before completing checkout.
PERSONALISED PRODUCTS & CANCELLATION POLICY
The majority of Laser Sharp Gifts personalised items are individually created specifically for the person placing the order.
Before Production Begins
If you need to change or cancel an order, contact us immediately at:
If manufacture has not begun, we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your request.
After Production Begins
Once engraving, printing, cutting or other personalised manufacture has started, the product is being permanently customised.
We may therefore be unable to cancel or alter your order.
Personalised or custom-made products are generally excluded from the normal statutory change-of-mind cancellation period.
Check Before Ordering
Please carefully check:
Names
Dates
Messages
Spelling
Photograph selected
Design selected
Quantity
Delivery details
before completing your purchase.
Production Errors
If Laser Sharp Gifts makes an error and the finished item does not match the personalisation supplied by you, please contact us.
We will provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with your statutory rights.
Customer Errors
Where we have reproduced the information exactly as submitted but the customer provided incorrect information, this is not normally considered a production fault.
We may be able to manufacture a replacement at a reduced price at our discretion.
Photograph Engraving
The appearance of a laser-engraved photograph will differ from a photographic print.
The engraving process recreates the photograph using variations in the engraved surface.
Results depend upon:
Photograph quality
Lighting
Resolution
Contrast
Focus
Material being engraved
We may make reasonable image adjustments to achieve the best possible engraving result.
